Services Provided

Whether you’re carrying something heavy or just feeling stuck, therapy can help you find clarity, relief, and direction. I offer a compassionate, personalized approach to therapy that supports real, lasting change — not just quick fixes.

Individual Therapy

I work with adults seeking support for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns — including anxiety, depression, relationship patterns, perfectionism, and feeling overwhelmed or disconnected.

While I specialize in trauma and eating disorders, therapy with me isn’t limited to those issues. Many of my clients come in unsure of exactly what’s wrong — they just know something needs to shift. Together, we work to untangle what’s going on beneath the surface and move toward greater ease, self-awareness, and healing.

EMDR Therapy

I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based therapy that helps people process distressing experiences and shift how those experiences live in the body and mind.

EMDR can be especially helpful for:

Trauma and PTSD (including complex or developmental trauma)

Eating disorders and body image distress

Shame, anxiety, or emotional stuckness tied to past events

Overwhelming emotions that feel hard to explain

We’ll decide together whether EMDR is the right fit and integrate it at a pace that feels safe and empowering for you.

Eating Disorder Treatment

Eating disorders are complex — they’re never just about food. I take a bio-psycho-social approach to eating disorder recovery, grounded in the empowerment model. This means we’ll explore not only behaviors, but also the emotional, relational, and systemic factors that shape your relationship with food and your body.

I work with adults across the full spectrum of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and other disordered eating patterns. My approach is not about judgment or forced change — it’s about understanding why the eating disorder developed in the first place, and how it may be serving as a way to cope, even if it’s no longer working.

Together, we’ll gently uncover what’s beneath the surface, remove the shame and secrecy that so often surround this illness, and build new, sustainable strategies for navigating emotions, relationships, and daily life.

Treatment may include:

Traditional talk therapy to explore deeper patterns and emotions

EMDR to process past experiences or trauma that may be linked to the disorder

DBT-informed skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and self-compassion

Recovery looks different for everyone. You don’t have to be “sick enough” or have a formal diagnosis to get support. If food, body image, or control feels tangled or overwhelming — this is a safe place to start

Clinical Supervision

I offer supervision for pre-licensed therapists who want to grow their clinical skills while working in a supportive, insight-oriented, and ethically grounded space.

My supervision style reflects the same values I bring to therapy: curiosity, collaboration, clinical depth, and honest reflection. I particularly enjoy supporting new therapists who are interested in trauma-informed care, psychodynamic work, eating disorder recovery, or integrating EMDR into their practice.

If you're seeking supervision in Illinois (or your licensure state if applicable), feel free to reach out to see if we might be a good fit.
